Hi, everybody! It's Robbi, from Guidance, from Gratitude, and I have. I know. I say this every
time, my dear friend, but I have my dear friend Nicole showing here with me.
Nicole, I will get into this later, but I feel so blessed that our paths crossed and And now she's
helping me lead the tools for Transformation Group that we have our Monthly Series Group and
it's just been such a blessing for her to come into my life, so I'm glad that she's here to share her
path to purpose with us. And so welcome, Nicole, thank you, and I feel so blessed that you
come into my life. So let's just put that out there. You know we we both pull our cards for the
week ahead, and I normally focus on an archangel, and you pull kind of couple of cards to share
for for the week ahead, and both of us received our which I just love, because Roggy L. Is the
archangel that brings people together that brings people into your life that you need for or want
for some reason, and I feel like you know.
When we met, I kind of I kind of saw you in a couple of different places. I saw you and Radley's
membership as well as Kyle's angel team, which you were a mentor for, and I heard you speak,
and I was like, I need to know this woman. So I just reached out to you. And luckily you're like,
who is this crazy guy in the background? I had ride you well, running that connection like, Okay,
Raj, well, let's let's get us together, because there's something that we need to do together. And
obviously I love that. I love how that works, what what's meant for us won't miss us the
universal find a way, you know. It's so neat, so well, I know a lot of your story. But I want to just
talk today about your spiritual journey, and how that led you into stepping into service. Be
before we do that. Why don't you just tell us about the services that you offer and the type of
work that you do?
Yeah, so I am. I'm a Reiki master teacher. Consider myself a healer and angel intuitive. I guess I
have a million different certifications, but I'm probably most proud of the certified angel Guide
that we both share by Kyle Gray and the Angelic, I mean certified angelic Advisor, by Bradley
Valentine, and a certified angel taro and oracle card reader, by Bradley as well. So those are the
things I use the most because I do reiki healing sessions. I do angel card readings. I hold
meditations and teach some classes on intuition and angels and things like that. So yeah, a little
bit all over the place. It's evolving constantly.
Yes, that's that. And that's the conversation I had the other day with someone else is like, once
you figure out what you're doing, then something new comes in, and you have integrated into
your practice. Right? You learn so many modalities, and then it becomes your own, and it's just
its own thing. It's a little different right from what it started. So exactly.
And that's that's the beauty of it is is being guided to what. how you're supposed to integrate
those new things into your practice for not only yourself, but for your clients.
So I love that so tell me about how you got into angels, cause I think that's we kind of always
agree. That's where it all starts where it started and what brought me back home. You know, it's
all those things. I just I when in retrospect. If I look back now, I think they were always with me. I
talked to them when I was a child. I think Archangel Reel was with me a lot as a kid. I could just
feel her in the tree. I climb a tree. I would. You know I just had this, you know, imagination
supposedly at. But it was many, many years later. That I received a Riki session. It was my first
Reiki session. I had no idea what it was. Somebody had gotten me a gift certificate. And I
thought, Okay, I don't know what they're gonna do. They're not touching me, but you know it's
like a massage, that's all. I what I was told and and I sort of just went in with no expectation and
open minded. and in that session Archangel Reel came through, and the the practitioner didn't
know.
She just said, I think that's an angel, you know. That's the other. So it that's all she kind of gave
me. But when I went home I took the message that was received from her, and then I Googled.
and in reading all about her I was like, she's been with me all along like this, completely
resonate. She was the Queen of Fairies, they said in in Google. and I have like fairy tattoos all
over me. And you know, I just was like this. This makes sense. So I think that was one of the
things that opened the door to like. What? What is this? I started buying books and was
interested in?
I would find out about one angel and wanted to know anything I could back then it was during
virtue had most of the stuff out right? So I was just reading all these different things, and then
studied with her and found Bradley. It just kind of moved, you know. It's taking other courses.
Where? Then, you got to really experience them, meet, learn about, meditate with them,
dedicate time, maybe a month to one angel. So it was a just developing a relationship, you know
with them, but as I did that it opened me up to all the other things. It allowed me to feel safe to
have an experience. It allowed me to be able to step up and do some of the work like it. Really,
all wouldn't have happened without my angelic team that made themselves known, you know.
So yeah. And then from there you decided to go and and take Raiky and get it and do some
energy work. And it just kind of yeah, pretty much I.
So I you know I I owned a beauty salon for I was in beauty industry for 30 some years. I own
this one for 27, and I am I don't know the constant student. I love certifications. I love learning
something new. So even in the beauty, industry. I have so many certifications for things that I
never did in my like. I did nails in the salon, but II became a an educator for a color line. Just
because I wanted to really be able to pass that knowledge on. I learned how to do hair
extensions. I mean just random things that I would never. I have a lot of useless information in
my brain.
But in that time, too, what filled me up was finding, you know these other classes like about
angels, or about card reading or like. Once I received that Reiki session. Within a few years II
met someone who was teaching, and I was like, well, I wanna learn that. You know, I didn't think
I'd share it. It was just like I for me, you know. So I just started. I don't know obtaining all this
information, and it just kind of kept going. But in the meantime, you know, I think what happens
with most of us is there's sort of a breaking open moments that happen where I was at the time
in my life, probably. Maybe 2,011, something like that, where you're just going and going going.
And you know, II was thinking about this Robby, because I knew we were gonna do this. And II
was thinking about how things started. And I was thinking how I always felt like I didn't have a
lot of choices in life like my life just happened to me. You know. It was like. I'm 16 years old and
in cosmetology, and we have a We have a substitute teacher. So I think, well, hell, I'm gonna do
what I want. I'll just do nails this day, cause it's a substitute. And and he turns out to be a salon
owner and offers me a job doing nails. Okay, I guess that's what I'm doing now. I guess I'm
doing. And then I worked there for a while, and
I was pretty insecure, and I met another woman who befriended me, and and she was not easy
to get along with. But I loved her, you know, and she wound up, getting fired from that job for
good reason. You know she was not a good employee. I hope she doesn't hear this. And then
she moved on to somewhere else and said, Nicole, come, work for me.
and I had no good reason to leave that salon. But I was a people pleaser. And I like this woman.
So okay, I'll go over here and then I follow her. And then a short time later. She's like, I'm out. II
don't want to do this anymore. You know I'm leaving you high and dry. I'm 19 years old. I'm
pregnant. I'm single.
I'm like what you know. What do I do now? And and the woman who own the salon said, I'll
rent you space if you want. So I just continued on going. And then, before you know it, she was
like, I'm closing this salon, but I'd like to open another one. Do you wanna open one with me?
I'm 21. I have no money. I'm a single mom.
But I'm like, Okay, I guess so she's closing this. Gonna do. So I move. And you know, my whole
life like I just it kind of felt like I was just going to the next thing. And before you know it. 20
years have gone by, and you're doing nails, and you own a salon, because then that woman left,
and now I was on my own later on. From there.
You just feel like life is happening to you, but it's pushing you in the right direction. Maybe I
don't know, but it never felt like I really had choices. And when I was thinking about doing this
with you.
I was meditating, and the angels came in, and they reminded me of all of those key moments
that I didn't have to say yes to taking that job, you know. When I was 16 in the salon, and I
didn't have to follow that other woman. I could have stayed, and when she left I did have some
other options that I contemplated before I decided to stay. Like all of the things they were
choices. I had choices all along, and you know I just kind of did II thought almost that life was
telling me what to do, and I would step up and do the thing.
But really I was making choices the whole way, and I think that's what happened years later in
the Salon. You know, when you come into this world with, we all do with certain fears and
certain things. II was a people pleaser. I have a fear of abandonment. I have fear of betrayal, so
life takes you on a circle where you know things in this lifetime will trigger that, or you know,
reinforce those stories. So all I was doing was trying to keep everyone happy and see and read
them intuitively. And what do they need? This one needs to make a lot of money. And this one
needs to be really creative. And this one wants.
You know, not a lot just to chill and be here like. So you're constantly trying to work so hard to
make everyone happy, which we all know is impossible. and if somebody would leave, it was so
personal it was me, you know. So after I don't know all of those years, and you know, just going
and going and going and working so many hours, and trying to always be enough and never
really feeling like you were. I had like an episode where I got really sick. And II was working. It
was like on my tenth hour, and I couldn't see.
And I got really dizzy, and I my speech was slurred. And it's just I didn't know it was happening. I
honestly, it felt like I was having a stroke. It really did. and I later had gone to the doctors and
had MRIs. And they said I had these complex migraines. I had lesions on my brain that were
consistent with migraines. But I'd never had a headache in my life. I don't have. I've had sinus
pressure, but never headaches. and they said it was from the right amount of stress, the right
amount of tired, the right amount of hungry, you know, and I think it was that moment,
probably in like 2,011, where I was like, I have to do things differently. I am on this wheel, and
I'm constantly going and going, and
I don't feel like I'm getting anywhere. And it that's when I just stepped off like that Marig
around, or something for a moment. And I was like. what if I just sit here and have my coffee
before I go into work and watch the birds? What what is meditation like, you know, like all these
things started to just to open up a little bit and crack open, and then, probably 4 or 5 years later,
I think 2015 huge just said, personal things happen, and things happen within the salon that
that broke me open and broke my heart. And just there is so much I, you know. healing that
needed to be done.
But at that same time I was going for my reiki certifications, and I was studying all these other
things so as certain parts of my old life felt like they were falling apart. This other part was
opening up, and I think that's what happened a lot of times for people on their journey, that
something happens where you just can't go on the way you were going, and in the middle of all
that pain is this, you know, I don't know this beautiful unfolding that happens. and then that
finally really open 5 years later, in 2020, when it broke open for most of the world, and when
the salon was closed, and for the first time since I was 6, II started working this one at 16. I had
owned it since 21, and now, for the first time in my life, we're closed. For 3 months. I had a lot of
time to sit and and I just realized, and I had already had us a space in the slum where I was
doing raking and doing card readings and doing this work?
But still managing all the other stuff. and it was during that time where he just really had the
space to look inside and say, this isn't working for me anymore. I can't be responsible for all
these people.
And you know. II it's just. It's time to walk away from that and go full blown into. you know, onto
this, you know.
waving my freak flag or something. It's not quite anymore. It used to be like you wanna read
and go upstairs. And now it's like, here I am, world very interesting. How how that happens
when you know we are.
we can't see how things can be different. We can't see. How. How am I going to be able to step
away from this salon, or from that full time, Job, and step into service, because this provides for
me, even though it might not be what I want to do, or even not, might not be the healthiest
thing for me.
But it provides, and that's part of the the process of surrendering to be able to step into service.
And all you know in that that way. And I'm not saying that you have to leave your full time job
step into service. But there is that kind of pull a lot, but I feel like for a lot of people, especially
with Covid coming through. It just was like boom. Here's your chance. And people either saw it
and took that opportunity. Or they did, you know. And
yeah, I met a lot of people that's when I really stepped into it because I was working from
home, and I could take classes, and it just allowed me to to see how I could do things differently.
How I could have some.
You know, some flexibility around that. And so yeah, it's it's very interesting how the universe
provides us these opportunities, and it's up to us to either take them and see them for what
they are, or just keep on going.
Yeah. As you were saying, that it reminded me, sorry, as you were saying that it reminded me of
a class like I took a energy modality, and I kind of forget about it all the time.
Because it was way before. I was just doing this for me. I was way before. I never thought I'd be
doing what I'm doing now. And it's a lovely modality, and then I had to stop doing it for a while,
because we adopted Allah, and I couldn't get up to Woodstock to take the classes on the
weekends, and you know, and the the teacher was in Scotland. And this is way before anybody
was doing anything with zoom or online, you know, teaching like that and
And one time I remember voicing my frustration that I couldn't get up to do level 2 workshop or
something. You know the weekend workshop with them. And he said, Robby, right now your
lessons are your child. Learn the lessons where you are. You can't go off for a weekend
workshop, learn the lessons where you are, and that really stuck with me. And but like you said
that was
10 years before I ever started doing what I'm doing. Yeah, yeah. yeah, yeah, so I think so. yeah,
absolutely. It's crazy. How it all, how it unfolds, how we can look back with 2020 vision. Right?
Let's see it all differently. Yeah, yeah. So what were some of the challenges? And you know that
you kind of faced
making that transition, I know kind of Covid made it a little easier, because, you know, gave you
time, but it also was like, you can't go in and and do nails in person right now, what am I gonna
do like? How? What were some of the the challenges that you faced
taking that step into the new direction of of really just focusing and kind of letting people see
your freak flag as you put. Oh, my gosh, well, I think the first thing the biggest and hardest thing
is our identity shifting.
you know. My identity was so wrapped up in that I am a salon owner, and this is who I am, and
this is what I do. So taking that stripping that away, then it was like, who am I? What you know.
So then we have all these
insecurities that come up and you know just worries of I mean, I sometimes had trouble. I'm not
someone who love to speak in front of a lot of people. My voice would shake in my own salon
with my own girls when it was all eyes on me. So there was a lot of overcoming
being able to speak up, you know, and II don't know what it comes from the old, you know. You
talk too much. You talk too loud, you're just, you know, like it was just
I don't know if it was those old stories, but really it was. It was letting go of the past, and
knowing that, like it was wonderful like. Sometimes we have to make things villainous or terrible
before we can walk away, but to
lovingly think that you know those people that I worked on like my clients raised me. They
raised me, they taught me so much, and and then later on, you know, I mean they they were
family, and the people that work for me were family and
I again. I there were times where I was being raised by these women, but other times where I
was, the mentor and the teacher, so feeling like a failure in that was a big part of. I think there
was a year in there where I was really struggling, committing completely to my new work,
because I was just feeling like such a failure.
And Once I was able to realize that, and my the name of my Salam was Create yourself and I it
was like I named it that because I wanted to remind myself that you always have that ability.
Years ago it came to me where I had it engraved in a ring way before the salon where it was like.
If you don't like where your life is or where it's going, it's up to you. Recreate yourself. You don't
have to say I can't do this because I'm XYZ. So II realized I was at a recreate myself moment
and trying to embrace that, trying to embrace my voice, and that I had something valuable to
say that I could help people. II think. Oh, you know. What is that? The imposter syndrome?
That's the hardest thing to to come. But but then it was like feeling the fear and stepping
forward anyway, that I would do a session or reading, or say something that I was feeling, and
realize that I touched somebody else, and that I helped somebody else, and on a way deeper
level than ever before.
and there's just nothing that compares. It just makes you realize, even if I feel this way, I have to
keep going, because it's it's making a difference, you know. Well, that's something interesting
that you pointed that out, because I've I've had people tell me
like, why are you asking me to do? Do this because you had like Bradley Valentine on, or chip
coffee on? And I'm like, Yeah, but they're doing their thing. People come to you for your services
because of who you are, you know, like we're drawn to you just like people are drawn to them,
and we no one does the same thing. Your life experience guides you to
learn the things that you need to bring in the the healing and growth for your path. And there's
something about that that people connect with. That's why they come to you. And so II don't
really understand the competitiveness in the spiritual arena the spiritual world.
Because of that. It's like, if people are meant to work with me, they will. And and I. I'm here to
lift up other people and share their abilities.
so people can discover them. And if you're supposed to work with Nicole on readings instead of
me, that is wonderful. If you're supposed to go to Jenny Israel. For you know, body or emotion
code work. That is wonderful. Or you know, yeah, for the Akashic field therapy work that is
great, or
do a medium ship rating with Chip? Perfect, you know. But it's not it. It's just about what who
makes you feel safe to be able to really be vulnerable, to do the work absolutely. That 100%
that's the nail on the head right there. If you don't feel safe held, seen, not judged. You can't
really have the experience. You can't really go deep. You can't do any of those things. So that's
what is. That's what's needed. Yeah, it's like in the salon. I used to say. There's more than
enough for everyone. Why are we so competitive? There's a hair salon on every corner.
you know. But yet we're not Ne. Even if we were all as busy as we could be, we're not doing half
the people that are around right. There's just more than enough. And this is the same thing the
right people are, gonna find you? You know the it's it's you know. I asked my daughter years
ago, when
I was doing all these classes. So I'm learning about crystals. You're learning, you know, human
design and astrology and mediumship, and talking to animals and random stuff, and my
daughter was kind of little, and I was like, what do you think is the coolest, you know of all these
things? What do you think's the coolest modality, or whatever? And she said, I think what's the
coolest is that you're just a regular person.
so inspired her that a regular person who's just anybody could learn and do all of these things,
and I think like it took me back because it's so true. We all have this ability, and maybe that's
what we inspire, that we're not Bradley Valentine, or but it's just like, Wow, I resonate with their
story. I I'm you know, just like them. And so I can do this, too, you know.
Yeah, we don't have to come across as the Crystal ball, reader, and bewitched, or something to
be able to help
So one thing you pointed out that I think is really interesting. And I think it's such a limiting
belief that people have not only when they're stepping into service, but also in their everyday
life, and is their sense of worthiness, and that there's enough
for everyone out there like I in one of my sessions recently. even actually, this morning. The
woman said. I just feel like you know, the angels are just too busy, and you know they don't
wanna hear my little problems. And it's like, No, that's a sense of not feeling worthy of support
and love. And we need to let that thought go like, how can we? How can we let that go? So we
know that we are
worthy of love, abundance, joy, happiness in our lives, and that the angels have infinite capacity
to help us at any given time with anything that we need.
You know. And so I just love that you brought that up is that there's more than enough clients
and and
all of those resources for us to learn what we need. if we open ourselves up to it, if we allow
ourselves to be guided that direction and to receive the clients that are coming our way.
Knowing I mean I you know I actually put up. But II had a talk with Rog. Ul something
taught me is having your guide stand guard, you know, right up front and be like. Only allow the
right people to come through. You know I I've jokingly said this to you, I'm sure, many times. But
if somebody's coming to me, for when am I gonna fall in love kind of reading, they're not gonna
get the answer that they want, because I'm gonna make them look at themselves. Look at the
situations they're in, and why they aren't finding love. What do you need to do to allow love to
come in, and that's gonna be work. It's not gonna be like, oh, next Tuesday someone named Bill
is, gonna
you know, mistakenly pick up your coffee. And you know, you're gonna have exchange at the
coffee House and blah, blah, blah! No, it's gonna be because we're trying to bring in the change
in someone's life. So they can move forward.
Yeah, having that story of Bill grabbing the coffee and having that next thing that creates a
beautiful relationship. That's wonderful. But in order to get to the Coffee house, you're probably
gonna have to remove some barriers that you've built up of actually stepping out to do that, you
know. So that's but but
knowing that we're worthy of joy and happiness, knowing that we're worthy of guidance, you
know, and being open to it is such a powerful part of that, and knowing there's enough for
everybody. So I'm glad you mentioned that kind of went
around the topic, but knowing that there's enough for everyone out there such a powerful
reminder. Yeah, you're not forgotten. You're not left out there, you know. Just th the doors will
open, and you asked before about the biggest challenge. And II would say, worthiness actually,
really is most of our. But you know, for most of us
because it it's not. It's not just being worthy of all the clients and all that, but like even worthy of
the conversation, that Archangel Michael is here, and that he is actually speaking to me because
I think religion and things of the past meant, like, you know, angels, when we come to those
who are super special, and it's just. And but why aren't we? Wh? What? Why are we not taught
that we are, you know. And
I think, as my voice gets funny just thinking about about that, but it's just real that that was a big
part of ego to let go of it. Say, I am worthy of this relationship. That's super personal to each of
us, you know. And and in beginning, that is, when all the other doors will start to open.
Well, it's something that we're taught from such an early age is, you know. We go to church to
learn about God. Why do you have to go to church to learn about God. God is everywhere, and
God's in nature. God isn't within us. We are of God, we, you know. So why do. We have to go to
a building and have some person tell us about God. It's great to hear about God, but they
shouldn't dictate how we interact with God. We don't need that intermediary. We've had this
conversation, but it's just something that that really bugs me about organized religion, at least
the ones I've been involved with
growing up. And it's it just takes back. It's it's taking back our power and having that, knowing
that we're worthy of that direct connection with God and that we can have that direct
connection to God. And II jokingly said the other day.
when I was doing another podcast that you know that archangel sometimes are kind of the
gateway drug to spirituality and to God. Having that connection to God, because it's just how
our human mind works. We have, you know. We're so compartmentalize, you know, like, Oh, I'm
feeling like I don't have an you know. Courage. II need some strength. Call him Ariel, or you
know, or Michael, I feel unsafe calling Michael to bring in that sense of safety. And but really it's
all God, but it takes us steps to be able to open up our our little human minds to that expansive
thought of. We can have that direct connection to God we don't have to have an intermediary,
even if it's an archangel, might not be the minister we we stepped up from minister to at least
this, you know, archangel, and then maybe we can step up, you know, to God next door to
Jesus, or you know, Mary, but ultimately getting up to that. That having that direct connect to
God is the is the goal. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Yeah. We're the other absolutely absolutely. okay,
I'm gonna pause for a second. So what else? What do we need to cover?
I guess. What? I'm gonna ask, what? What's been the most satisfying thing about your work.
Okay? So what's been the most satisfying thing about the work that you do? I. You know we've
had conversations about the salon work, and I know that there's other people that I've that I've
met, that are practitioners that came from that world. And and but what is the most satisfying
thing that you're that you help people with in your in your spiritual. Yeah. Well, I think when you
come from that world where we're definitely people, people, right? We we're there's not many
jobs where you're actually in somebody's energy field like, I'm holding their hand for an hour, or
we're touching their head or their shoulders, or you know, unless you're a doctor, people don't
really come up and touch you. So I'm I'm used to that connection. I love that connection with
people but this ha allows me to do to have that same connection. But on a deeper level.
You know, it's not just knowing what's going on in their lives. But when you're in their energy
field or they're they're coming to you for this. It's just they're trusting you, and you're they're
just open, and there's just so much beauty that you see. Honestly, if I didn't do this work I don't
know that I could even have accepted it for myself. But when I witness it for others, I'm like, Oh,
my gosh! How could I not know that that's available to me also, you know, but the most
beautiful thing about it is watching people grow, watching people overcome and step up and
step into their confidence, or move through something. That's you know, I've always loved
teaching and helping in the salon for PE people to grow. But this is just this is finding and just a
new joy in life, and a new confidence or healing and moving through something. It's just.
There's nothing more beautiful to witness, and it's on. It's an honor to witness and be a part of
so yes, absolutely and I think that just feels so safe doing it with you because of who you are
and your and just like the love you exude. You know people were saying you but yeah, it's
definitely true. And I love. I love, you know I always joking. Please say I'm the gruff one, and
you're the you're the the more fairy connected, lighter, you know, loving energy, and I'm just like
the the curmudgeon. Here's the information, and Nicole, like brings it all all in this bubble of
love. So we're really good. Oh, boy! I think. Lastly, if there's one thing, and this you know.
the conversations I've had are about people who have stepped into service, but it also could just
be your spiritual journey, your your own personal journey. And you know this whole thing isn't
about just going out and becoming a practitioner. It's about, how do you follow your heart to to
go? La! Allow yourself to go on the spiritual journey and live a more joyful life, really.
what advice would you give people who are seeking to do that.
Hmm! What advice? Oh, my goodness! Well. one, I would just want to say that it's possible for
you. I think one of the biggest things. When I was younger and living my life, my story would be,
I am super add, which I am. My brain is all over the place that I was very busy, busy, busy, busy,
busy busy doing a million things at once, and I did that well as long as I could but if I sat down in
the middle of the day for a moment I was riddled with anxiety. You know I should be doing this.
And I should be doing that. I basically would run around until I passed out every night, and then
we get up and do it again.
I would say that being on this journey, and what has changed is the peace that I feel, the weight
that is lifted, that I feel like I can breathe. II never breathwork freaked me out anytime. We do a
meditation, even when they're like breath. I'm like, oh, when are we done with the breathing. I
hate the breathing, but honestly, because I didn't breathe any deeper than my own heart like I
couldn't fill my lungs and and now I can.
you know. So for me. Never mind doing all the things that I that I'm so blessed to be doing. My
life has changed. I can. I meditate every day, and I am not one of those people who are. Gonna
you know. I'm not setting myself on fire like I do not. I'm not. There's not nothing like, they say
the goal is a meditation. That's not it, my! My brain still working and going. But I am consistent. I
will sit there and I'm open, and I and I'm telling the universe and the angels that I'm this is our
time, and I'm willing to listen. So I'm inspired in that time, or I can just be with myself and my
body, and whatever you know, messages are coming up or recognizing, giving that some time.
So those are things that I could never do before, you know, and and that's how my life is
changed. I can sit now, and I can admire things, and I can be more present. And and I spent
many years not being able to do that. And I think a lot of people do. We're all on this crazy. Go,
go, go! Go! Life with a million responsibilities. So the idea of even stopping for a moment gives a
lot of people anxiety. you know, but it's really freedom. I think it's really freedom that it offers.
Yeah. And that's something we've talked a lot about in group is that place of peace and stillness
that the only way to get to the present moment is, if you can just be still. your mind might still
be active, but you have to slow down and really connect with yourself, not your head, with your
heart and moving in that place. Yeah, that that is a it's tricky to do. But I think it's different for
everybody like like you said, your mind still active. It's not like your your. You don't go to this
blank slate. Some people do, but I never do, and but it also can be when you're just least when
you're least expecting things to happen. I mean, I wish I could do all my readings from the
shower, all my downloads and messages, or I wish there was like a whiteboard in there that I
could write stuff on like, oh, this is a class you should do, and they just start giving it to me, and
I'm like, Oh, my! Gosh! Wait! Wait! Wait. Wait. I got a shower, but I know if I'm out of the
shower I'm off to doing other things, and that's why you know I'm getting it because my mind is
slow down. I'm not thinking about all the 27,000 things I have to do during the day, or what I,
you know, actually just standing there in the shower can't do anything else. So it's really yeah. It
could be a shower. It could be a cup of coffee and just quiet and nature. It could be a walk. It
could be listening to music right? It doesn't. It could be anything. It doesn't have to be on a
meditation pillow or a yoga mat getting into the present moment and allowing not trying, just
allowing for the for the thoughts to move through.
You know. I think so many of us try like I'm doing it wrong. How do I do this? You're not doing it
wrong. You're just. It's just an unfolding. you know. Thank the thought, and let it and release it.
Thank you for coming and set of obsessing about it, or wondering what you know like in that
moment think it, acknowledge it and release it. You know. Later on you can go back and dissect
why, it might have come up and everything. But in that moment, just if you're trying just to
come into the present moment, it might not be the time to do that. So yeah, and even the
negative stuff, right? The negative things that come up.
Those negative voices they're so important to hear and acknowledge. Because if you're not
recognizing that they're even happening, you know. Then you're wearing them like a truth. So if
I hear those mean things coming up now, I'm like, Oh, I hear you, you know, and then I'd like to
twang this my shoulder like, now bug off, you know, or this is not true for me, or thanks for your
opinion, whatever it is. But I need to know what I'm telling myself, or what part of me is, you
know, saying so I can really flip it and change it?
Yes, absolutely alright. That's part of the You know what we've been working on a group, too, is
the affirmations. And how do we? How do we switch the dialogue, the conversations we have in
our head with ourselves. And there's things that we we. you know here and then take on as our
truth when really they're not, and again, giving people the structure of learning about the
archangels, and then calling on them to help shift that thought, you know from a negative
thought to confirmation, and just working with those things over time to allow that thought to
shift. So stay tuned. There might be something coming up around that. And then I think that's
such an important thing that people don't even, you know, always recognize or know about.
And that's why I think we both love to share about the angel. So much is that you don't have to
do it alone. Sometimes we're just so in our head. How does this work? How do I do this and
inviting the angels in? Even if you don't know anything about what they're supposed to be doing
or their names. You're just, but you're inviting. And a and you're open to the help. II think it's life
changing. It's really before your eyes. It's really magical.
Yeah. And the the beautiful thing is, no one has to know you're doing it. So there's no sense of
anyone seeing you fail, because it's like, you know. there's no one can see. Yeah, your
conversations. It could all be in your head, or you could do it while you're alone. You don't have
to share with anyone. And so it's this wonderful way of gaining support in a way that you know
allows you to change your life without having to be vulnerable to another human. So yeah. And
I just had this conversation with my client today, too. She's like, I just don't wanna look stupid,
you know, I said, well, how can you look stupid to an angel?
Yeah, like they're they're pure love. They love you unconditionally, and they're not judging you.
You're judging you and your capabilities, and but they're not. They're just here to support you,
and whatever way you need it. So just ask and yeah, you don't have to share that with anyone
that's part of the beauty of this. So yeah, that's one of the biggest lessons when they say that
people pray for forgiveness.
And the answer that comes from the angels. And God is you're you've already been. You've
already forgiven. It's you that has to forgive yourself like they're not holding us in contempt, you
know they're not.
You know, they there, there's nothing to be embarrassed of or feel bad about, like. It's just pure
love. It's beautiful. So we're the ones. We're the rough ones on our cell.
We're the ones that got to get out of the road way. That's a whole different topic. Absolutely.
We still hit hit those roadblocks. But the beautiful thing is when you do hopefully, you're
recognizing it more. And you know, because you're in the present. Hopefully, you recognize it
more, you know immediately and can stop yourself and go.
That's not my truth. Be able to move forward a little quicker. That's part of the present being
able to see those trees in the present moment instead of it taking months to be like, oh, yeah,
have that realization exactly. Exactly. Well, Nicole, thank you so much for coming on and having
