Yellow Bird, Blessings and "Aloha from Spirit"

This morning I had a session with a client. I wasn't really paying attention as it was Saturday morning - just sure to get to the session on time! I started clearing off the desk where I sit for all of my readings and took special notice of a little glass stone with a yellow bird on it that I was given as a gift. I took it and put it on top of a small wooden "plumeria flower" that has Aloha written on it that I brought home from Hawaii. I like to have things that remind me of things I love around my desk to help me keep my vibes high!

So I sign on to the session and it is a dear client that lives in Hawaii. We were well into our reading and I pulled two oracle cards to gain insights into the other cards I had shared, and the first card I pulled was Happiness and the second was Blessings. Well, Happiness has dolphins dancing in the waves and the Blessings card has - wait for it - a Yellow Bird on it. The card signifies being surrounded by love from those in Spirit that are there to help us and watch over us so we can trust that we are being guided in the right direction. It then hit me that just before our reading I had put the Yellow Bird on top of the Aloha plumeria flower (a flower found all over Hawaii and I had bought there). I laughed and shared that with her and she gasped and shared a story with me.

She said that a friend had told her that before she made a decision about something going on in her life that she should wait for a sign. Well, she was on a deadline to make a choice and she told her friend that she didn't really have time to wait for a sign to show up. But in the end she didn't need to because two steps further a feather flew past her and landed at her feet. It was the sign she needed to accept the offer that was given to her. And then the validation of the Yellow Bird and Plumeria/Aloha in the reading!

I'm not sharing this story to say what an amazing reader I am - but to remind us all to allow ourselves to do the things we are led to do. For some reason I was led and listened to put that Yellow Bird stone on top of the Aloha/Plumeria flower which is something I have NEVER done before. It was something I felt I needed to do without even being conscious of it. And in doing so I was able to share a very deep message with someone that they were on the right path.They had asked for a sign, and boy did Spirit deliver!

The Blessings/Yellow Bird card (which is from Denise Linn's Sacred Destiny) also has significance for me as Chip Coffey once told me at the end of a phone call that my father was going to be sending me a sign of a Yellow Bird. I had seen a yellow bird the day before, which isn't a common occurence here, but he said it was still coming. I walked downstairs and my daughter was doing an art playdate with a friend of mine who is a very creative artist! They would meet during the pandemic a lot and paint or draw together - and this day they decided to surprise each other with paintings. My daughter showed me her drawing, and then my friend showed me hers - which was...a Yellow Bird. I nearly fell out and told her that just minutes before Chip said my father was sending me a Yellow Bird.

I hope that all of you will allow yourself to put that stone on top of the flower - listen to those nudges from the Universe and Spirit and do not resist them. I say so often that we never know where the blessing will come from - so stay connected and curious and do not resist even the silliest of things you may be led to do! You never know where that Yellow Bird will show up next!

PS: I came back to add that later in the day I received the message that I missed a little bit of the message in the sign that I received - which was "Aloha (hello) from Spirit"!
